Welcome! By taking this survey, you will be gaining insights as to which famous celebrities or characters have personalities most similar to your own. You will finally be able to lay to rest important questions which have been lingering in your mind, keeping you awake at night: Am I more like Legolas the Elf, or Gimli the Dwarf? Do I behave more like Dr. 'Izzie' Stevens of Grey's Anatomy, or Phoebe Buffay of Friends? If I were a Beatle, who would I be? After completing the survey, you will instantly be able to see how similar your personality is to a large number of famous celebrities and characters. Please note: This survey is being conducted as part of a study of personality at the University of Illinois; please answer the questions honestly. Enjoy! The purpose of this research is to learn more about how personality is organized. This research is being conducted by Dr. Brent Roberts, and by Joshua Jackson and Dustin Wood, who are affiliated with the Department of Psychology at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. You must be 18 years or older to participate. You’ll be asked to fill out some demographics and then a personality questionnaire. When finished, the program will analyze your responses and provide you with a personalized summary of the information you provided. The answers that you give will be entirely confidential and anonymous. We will not ask you to provide identifying information, and no attempt will be made on the part of the survey administrators to track the IP address of those who participate.
